Had my WLS on 12/8/06. I have posted a few times stating how well everything has gone. I mean I have had no complications. I started @ 285 and am now 175lbs. I may lose a few more lbs but if I dont it wont bother me one bit. A loss of 110 lbs in 6 months . Well I went for my 6 month post-op and after my Dr looked at my 5 small incisions he asked me if I had already had plastic surgery done. Folks, this WLS I had agrees with me so much my skin has responded way beyond what I could have hoped for. My Dr could hardly believe the level of my success, he had to call other staff members to come look at me. I still dont eat very much and I do take alot of supplements but that is just part of the committment we need to make and follow through with. I even have started taking bee polen and royal jelly.....both in its natural form. If you dont have a bad reaction to them I do suggest trying at least the pollen. I still dont eat very much meat. I drink alot of milk (protein), cottage cheese with fresh fruit, chili is great also. Ok enough of my boasting, I just wanted to brag a little. Peace to everyone
Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
You have every right to brag. Wow 110 lbs in months. Didnt it make you feel good when the Dr wanted to show you off! That is wonderful. I feel so jealous of yall somtimes but my time is comming soon. You go girly.
