Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Vent Ok, so I have been very patient waiting for my doctors office to get all my paper work together and submit it to the insurance company. I had to wait almost a month to get my red blood cell count up and then they mixed me up with someone else and told me I had already been sent to insurance when they had not even started the doctors approval process that can take several weeks. So I thought I was weeks ahead of were I really was.  Now I come to find out that I have been waiting two weeks thinking that I had been sent to insurance once more to find out that phyc. has not approved me. Do you think that anyone would call and tell me this????? : devil::d evil:NO, I had to call and find out for myself and then find out that the phyc was out on vacation tills yesterday. When I finally got a call from her today, she told me that she was waiting on a call from the doctor that I see from last APRIL!!! She has never followed up with me, never thought to call and tell me that she had not gotten the papers she needed from him, just left the file on the desk and did nothing. So now that everyone else is done she has me sitting. I feel like from day one this lady did not like me, and that she had found any reason to slow me down. Now she is going to make it hard for me to get my final approval. Have you ever meet anyone and just felt that way? Sorry this is so long, but I am mad and angry and about in tears. Now I have to get with my councler and get him to call her. His office is closed for the 4th, this week and I swear it is going to be October before i have surgery!

So many folks here have raved about how their surgeons staff has been so helpful an mine is acting like yours, I have to follow up on everything and track everything down. I've come to realize that I'm not going to get the surgery as quickly as I want, and to accept that it will happen someday (as long as I keep chasing everything down LOL). Anna, there's reasons for the delays. Trust in that and accept it .... and when it's all done and over go choke the life out of the psychologist! Kidding!!!! |
