Default today's funny

i just had to share this because i thought it was sooo funny. some of you know that i have been looking for a scale that goes over 400lbs so i can be weighed before my next dietician phone consult. I phoned everywhere i could think might have a big enough scale. Nowhere, not even the hospital here where i live. I finally figured i was going to have to go to the cargo hold area in the airport. Then i got a phonecall from somebody whee i volunteer and gave me the name and number of someone here in town that had a scale that went high enough. I called and it was a fitness center. She has a scale that goes up to 800 lbs. I laughed so hard, eveywhere else that you'd think to find one and nothing, but a fitness center. I mean when i think of a fitness center i see beautiful curvy bodies, not someone like myself who can barely walk. I just though it was so funny and had to share. When i told her why i needed such a high scale she offered me a 3 month free membership to her fitness center for when i'm ready to start working out after the surgery. Just had to share.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

That is so cool! I am so happy you found one. But to funny, all the suggestions we had for you and nobody ever thought of a fitness center lol. And to get that memebership is a great way to get you motivated when you are ready .....So cool, i guess there are still nice people out there. Good for you!

All I can say is all those people in the fitness center had to start somewhere be it 800lbs or 200lbs! That is so awesome you found one. Maybe you can start taking advantage of the free offer!

I am really glad that you got a free membership out of the deal too. You will have to let us know how you like your new gym when you start working out there and what you like doing there.

Yes I am back and glad to be here. Each new day really is easier and better than the last. I dramatically improved my attitude and outlook once I finished my clear liquid hell...hehehe. It was some of what I expected, but I will admit it was more painfull than I thought. Even though you don't think that you can get up and move at first, it really does help you to do it. I would suggest maybe setting up an appointment at the gym you will be working out at before surgery to have someone show you how the different machines work and familiarize yourself with them. I did that at my gym and now I am more excited and comfortable with the idea of going back as soon as I can. I am going to just settle for walks around the neighborhood until I can stop taking the pain meds and maybe a little longer than that, but am really looking forward to making my presence known and letting people witness two incredible shrinking women...me and Jolie. Good luck Freebird.
