Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Miss You guys! Just wanted to pop in and try to catch up a little bit. If you know me then you know that once the warmer weather kicks in I am out and about all day. Makes it hard for me to post and keep up here. THis is my second summer since having surgery and I do have to say its WONDERFUL....I am maintaining between 128 and 132 depending on the day. Some days are better then others. However I am so much more aware of what i put in my mouth then i have ever been in my whole life. This surgery is such a blessing. I am able to go out and enjoy my children in a way i havent been able to in so long. I spend so much more time with them because i am no longer embarassed to get on the scotter or play tag ....i dont get out of breath in a few steps. I can laugh and play with them all day and thats what i do on my days off. I like to read about everyone else because life is about other people not just ourselves! Thanks for being a strong part of my success here on the boards and i promise to be around more {when the weather is colder lol} Love ya LittleLisaMarie I will add some pics soon also...

I haven't yet reached my target and I can do that so openly! I can imagine that I'll be even as brave as you are once I get to the target! I'm planning to spend this summer in Malysia, Jude and I will do all water sports since her daddy dosen't know how to swim we'll go snorkeling, scope diving, swimming and playing in the aqua parks..I'll go as wild as parachute flying. | Glad to hear from ya! I know what you mean Lisa. This is my first skinny summer, and I am really enjoying the nice weather and being more active with the kiddies. You hit the nail on the head though with the surgery being such a blessing. I wouldn't want to go back to the old me for anything in the world. Some days are very hard though. We wouldn't want to sugar coat anything. lol lol lol I still am dealing with the family issue, and that makes it very hard some days, and yes, I do fall off. I just try harder the next day. Anyway Lisa, I could go on forever, but for now, enjoy your family and the very nice weather we have been having. The cold will come before we all know it. Ugh! That I am dreading. Glad that you posted though, to let us all know that you are alive and kicking these days....doing very well. mike |
