Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I have the second book....and personally have yet to refer to it for a
recipe for myself.

I heard the weightloss surgery book for dummies is good.
I personally read the carneige wilson books written
from her expeirence with having the surgery and I enjoyed
those.
I also read: WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY "finding the Thin Person
Hiding Inside You!" by Barbara Thompson

AND for those worried about insurance approval this site
offers a great book for insurance approval should someone
need that as well.

ALL the best

Come to think of it, have you read the articles Craig has written and is up in the main pages of this site? I think they are pretty good reads, too.

i know this may sound strange but i refuse to read weight loss books. the only info i want is from this site and all you wonerful inspirational period, just to give me a small idea of what i might go through. i don't want to read alot of books and then when things go different for me than the books say get all anxious and upset. Bad enough i'm anxious as i am. the reason for this is because when my cousin was pregnant, (and this is a bit different but that's just me), she read all of these books on different stages of pregnancy and got real upset and anxious when things didn't go just as the books said it should, her dr. tried to calm her down because everything was normal, it was just a bit different for her, so i want to learn as i go.,it's still good to hear what some people are going through to have an idea of what could happen as long as i can remember that everybody is different, weird thinking but again that's just me.

Girls I recieved both books once I came back from the hospital. I started reading the 1st one and could not stop!! it's really a good book and worth every penny I paid for it!
It's good tips pre and post op. I personally liked the caricatures they are really hilarious.
Second book not that much!

I am LOVIN a book called:

Before & After: Living and eating well after weight loss surgery
by: Susan Maria Leach

This was given to me as a gift by a friend that had the surgery 2 years ago...and I am LOVIN it...the recipe's look sooo good...I love her journal pre and post-op. And she has a whole section on protein shakes....

Being in my first week of post-op....this has been sooo helpful. I'm excited about the puree week...her stuff looks delish!

Check it out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/006...lance&n=283155

Hope you enjoy...
Deborah~
