Welcome home boots. Im glad your ok. That drain is annoying honey but its necessary to let you get better for right now. So suck it up !! LOL im kidding but serious to. LOL. Thank you for the advise on the protein shot. I went to look it up. Can you tell me what its says on the bottle they have like 5 types. That way we do get the protein in daily. Ok Edie honey...... I want to thank you again on the Pro Stat. I have been reaseaching this now since I read your post on it. For the hosptial to use it I thought there has to be somthing to this. It seems they use it for Gastric Bypass patients as well as others who need nutrition. Its Lactose,sugar, wheat, gulten free. Its covers all the bases and its already broken down unlike the protein powders. What i mean is the protein is already broken down. The powders our body has to break it down. It supports faster healing to. Im amazed. I noticed they have recipes to put it into them also. WOW. I will make sure to ask when Im in the hosptial what it is they give to me. Thank you again Edie. I hope your feeling well today.

Edie my ordeal really wasnt too bad. I went in at 11:30 for surgery and was done by 1:45 went to recovery. Was having issues with my oxygen levels staying good so I had to stay in there for 5 hours. Once out of recovery went to my room and dont remember too much the rest of the night.Woke up the next morning and asked if I could walk but they said no to have bedrest the 1st day after surgery and no liquids til the next day. So had my barium swallow wednesday and all went well they finally allowed me to have liquids and took out my cathedor and all was good to go, started walking. Thursday they came in and toook out my JP drain and IV and was released. All in all it went smooth the hospital was awesome nursing staff great. The only thing is my back is more sore then my front for the most part. Its hard to get comfy.
