Default Yes, I made it home to the loser's bench!

Well, had my surgery on Monday morning and everything went well. Had a little bit of problems in recovery with my oxygen level so they hooked up my breathing machine and it seemed to make the difference.

Couldn't believe it but they let me come home Tuesday after lunch. I have basically slept alot. I am more sore than I thought I would be. I am still taking quite a bit of pain meds. I have more trouble sitting up than I do lying down.

I never would have believed that I would crave water....LOL. I always hated plain water.

Thanks for all the prayers, I am sure it helped me through.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Ladyhawk,

Glad to hear that you are home! The pain will get a little better each day and before you know it you'll be outside taking walks and sipping on that yummy water.

Keep listening to your body for rest, follow your doc & nut's recommendations and take good care of yourself. We're all routing for you!

Congratulations to be on the loser's bench! WAHOO YOU DID IT!

Amy

just curious. did you guys get those binder things? the HUGE ace bandge type thing that goes around your middle with velcrow (sp) on the ends? if so wrap it around as tight as you can stand it. you will be much more comfortable. that helped me out A LOT in the beginning.
