Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Big Medicine OK folks. Lets talk Emily: Preventative medicine case. Family history of heart disease. BMI of 41 Cathy: ballooned to 303 lbs after quitting smoking. Had bypass and lost 145lbs and is now dealing with a skin issue. Elects to have a lower body lift and butt work. Tiffany:Over 600lbs. Almost bed bound. When asked what the finish line is for her notice how she doesnt mention a goal weight or a size. she mentions independance; being able to bathe alone and go to the bathroom unassisted. The concern is that since she cannot get out, she cannot get to support group and therefore should not have surgery. They wanted her to go on liquid diet and get nutritional education. They decided against surgery for now. Do you agree?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | They mentioned last week that they were going to move it to 10pm est. That is a little late for me. But I did stay up an watch it. I feel bad for Tiffany, she really wants surgery, but it looks like she has a long road. I wonder how she found out about it but knows so little about it. How is it in this day that people don't know what a carb is? I hope she is not sorry she moved from her home to TX to chase a dream she know so little about. Kathy looked great after skin removal, I did not think she looked bad before however. It was nice to see someone like Emily go through the surgery merely for the health reason. She will do well I think.
