Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Funny you should ask. I dont know anyone who didnt lose with rny. though i am sure there are people who didnt lose as much as they were suppose to OR gained some weight back due to bad habbits. i know one lady for sure who had the lapband and only lost 30 lbs in a year....however she ate EVERYTHING she wasnt suppose to. most of the failure is due to non compliance. I am sure there are statistics somewhere...lol! But i am sure it will work for you so dont worry

ONLY cases i have heard was with a surgeon that his liscense was revoked for failing patients.
JUST relax ASHLEY your TOOL will work
but it doesnt happen over night. IF YOU
eat correctly high protein, not to crazy
on your carbs you will do fine. YOU can sabatoge
your weight loss in the foods choices so its important t
to make good choices!
hugs

So long as you work at making your TOOL work, it will work.
Everyone will lose weight at first, while your pouch is healing, simply because your diet is regulated at first--liquids, purees, soft food-- and the amount you can eat is very little.
Once your pouch and innards have completely healed, that's another story. If you start grazing, and if you graze on the wrong foods, let your old habits (like eating whenever bored, etc), let food that brings on craving, come back, then the RNY will stop working and your weight will come back because you are not useing your TOOL the way you should.

I read once on another board of someone who gained back all the weight, and then some, because that person started devouring chocolates by the box (!!) daily.

Stick to your surgeon's rules, and it will work because you are working by sticking to the surgeon's rules.
