Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Ashely, you are too early out to be able to really tell anything nor feel anything about your pouch.
You will experience dumping but that's just about it. When you get to soft food, you may feel something stuck, and when you go back to real food, you will most likely get something *stuck* once or twice, and maybe get the foamies, or suddeney .

Your pouch is still healing. Think of when you have a cut on your skin--until it's completely healed, and actuall for a few days even after the wound has seemed to have completely closed, the scar area still won't feel *normal*. It's the same with your insides, only you can't see it, so you have a hard time relating. It's going to take 3-4 months for everything to heal completely, and for your insides to start getting the new sensations to match your new pouch.

Your brain needs to catch up with your new insides, and that is going to take time, and also causes the fear in you that you'll fail your tool, ALL new post ops go through this stage. You're quite normal. Even though you say this isn't what you expected, go through the posts of everyone, when they were just a few weeks out from surgery. You'll see every single person saying essentially the same thing, though their specific words may be different. You've probably even read those posts while you were waiting for your day to come. It's just that the true meaning didn't register because you weren't at the stage where you can relate. Go back to them now, and you'll see that you aren't alone.

Enjoy this time you are having now that everything is agreeable to you, believe you me, you will get to the stage where you'll get kicked from your pouch for eating something that doesn't agree, and then you'll look back to today and probably think, if only your pouch was half as well behaved as it is right now.

(((((((HUGS))))))))

if you think you dont feel normal go thru my posts when i was at your stage LOL! i see almost everything i worte in your posts lol! it gets better. once you move stages, you will begin to "feel" things going on in that pouchy. then the reality will sink in.

you're doing fine
as for the fears of failing, even at 3 months out i still am fearful but i dont let it consume me anymore. i go on about my day. one day at a time. everytime you have doubts, snap a picture of your face and compare it to the pre-op you. you have lost 56lbs total. HUGE difference. something's working

Hang in there your doing great!!!

To this day i still try to measure what i am going to eat. When i dont prepare ahead of time is when i tend to eat to much and either or just feel horrible for a while.

I always remind myself im eating to live not living to eat anymore...i dont have to clear my plate !

Keep up the great work.

I was the same way at first, no problems. I was stressed out that it hadn't worked like it was suppose to too. Nothing made my stomach upset at all at first. I was able to eat almost anything, I was never hungry and also didn't feel the foolness. BUT................... All that has changed now. I am a little over six months and let me tell you. There are things now that I cannot eat at all and stay away from. I definitly get fool and fast and my body tells me when to eat. This surgey does different things for different people. Some expiernce problems right away, some like me take time to heal before their body starts telling them different things and some never expiernce any problems with food or anything else. You are so early in your journey, don't let these things bother you so, or you'l end up depressing yourself like I did. I was so sure I screwed something up for a while there that not even the weight loss seemed positive to me. You are doing great and just keep coming here the support is great and you'l make a few new friends.
