I have not been sleeping in my bed becuse for some reason i end up on my stomach and it herts me. well when he left early this morning I had him tuck me in up stairs in the bed I just thought i would get some better rest up there.
I was so rong for about the last 1/2 hour 45 min I have been stuck on my stomach in my bed in such pain and dicofort and no one to help me and my husband will not be home till 7:00pm. I have exsaused myself and i am herting.
It seems that in my sleep i rold over on my stomach and i litterly got stuck the pain is what woke me from sleeping. no matter what way i tern it felt like i was ripping myself appart I was stuck. litterly bye the grace of god i am out of that bed able to type this right now. I am so exsaused and tired now. I am going to sit on the couch and rest.
I am so upset right know though i think is good i am trying to type this.

Has anything like this happen to anyone? I need to know if i should be worryed. I take pain very well. and usualy have no problem but this is literly over the top. will i ever be able to sleep in my bed agen

the worst feeling was there is no one at the house to help me and i was in so much pain im not shore that anyone could but that is a horable feeling

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Ashley,
I'm so sorry that you are having such a tough time. I don't know if it's anything serious because I haven't gone through the surgery yet, but I can tell you from experience that your emotions can make things a whole lot worse. It's very difficult being alone alot (my DH has to go away for several months a year and works midnights for several months so we only see each other on weekends), especially when you are going through such a major change and you are scared.

I'm just glad we can be here for you. Now get some rest ON THE COUCH or in a recliner if you have one. Don't try the bed for awhile. Take it easy, you will eventually get back to sleeping on your tummy. One of the ladies mentioned some kind of wrap that you put around your stomach and it holds it from moving too much. I think she said it was around $20. You should get one of these.

Rest easy.

Awee Ashely. Im sorry honey you felt like you were so alone and no one could help you. Im a tummy sleeper to. I have seen others post in here about them sleeping in the recliner for a while. I know your bed would be much more comfortable to sleep in right now but maybe its just something you cant do.

I am glad you come to post this because someones advice here will help you Im sure. Another suggestion is to keep the phone close to you in the bed when hes not home so you can call someone over to help you if your like that again.

Im almost gonna tell you to talk to your Dr to Ashley. I have noticed you still say you take the Loratab before you lay down because that keeps you from having pain. At least address it to him. To see what he thinks. Im not saying nothing is wrong but you need to tell him this.

I love the new picture. Its so YOU !!! LOL and the quote on the end as well.

Hope you feel better. Please call the surgeon if you are in to much pain. There are so many medications out there that nobody should have to stay in pain.

Ashley its 3:30 a.m. here and I am up typing this because I too did the exact same thing as you. The pain is a burning pain isnt it? I was sleeping on the couch for awhile but wasnt getting much sleep so I started sleeping in my bed but I end up on my side and thats the pain I get too. Its the same pain that has given me hell all week. I am sorry hubby wasnt there to help you. I would put a call into your surgeon just to see what they say, mine said it was probably a nerve or muscle that got pulled, but who knows yours may have better insight

((((HUGS)))
It probably is mainly healing pains, but be sure to call your surgeon and let him know what's up.
I think someone wrote somewhere that having a pillow to hold while you sleep helps ease things a bit.

I usually sleep in a over-sized chair with my feet propped up. Now...just because my mattress is old and it kills my back, but right after surgery, just because it was very comfortable for me. Do you have a chair/recliner you could sleep in until you heal more? I've never been a "stomach" sleeper, so I've never had to worry about that. Sorry you're going thru this Ash.

When I First Came Home I Slept On The Couch Instead Of The Bed. Because It Was To Painful To Sleep On My Sides On Even On My Back So I Slept Kind Of Sitting Up.

But Now Im Able To Sleep In Bed On My Back And Sides. Iwas Never A Stomach Sleeper.

I Would Check With Doc, Esp Since Your Still In Pain Enough To Take Pain Meds. I Havent Been On Meds In A While. So Just Check With The Doc And Let Us Know.
