Default thoughts of a new bench sitter

Hi everyone. I know that I have pretty much been awol since surgery. Not because anything is wrong but because I have been very, very careful to do exactly as the doctor orders and it takes a lot of getting used to as all of you know. The sip, sip, sip thing is finally sinking in. I just carry a bottle of water everywhere I go, even in the bathroom. I want to feel like it is an extension of me so that I will take every opportunity to take that sip. I don't have to worry about not drinking before or after meals yet because I will be on a liquid diet for another three weeks. Then, I will have to retrain myself all over again! UGH!

I am managing two protein shakes a day. Usually 4 oz of chicken or beef broth once or twice and some SF jello and SF popsicles in there too. I am floating away on the toilet with all that liquid and I won't even tell you about the bowel stuff. All is within acceptable limits and I know that I have to let my body heal before I move to the next phase. I am just grateful that surgery is over, it went well and I am working toward the final goal of knowing what to eat and when.

Thanks for all the support I have gotten here. You guys are super!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
