Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

true. but also a lot of it is due to misinterpretation. while its great to live in a world where we can do this electronically and what not, one may misinterpret the tone behind a response which may not have been intended. its different when you actually talk to people you can hear if they have an attitude, but with words on a page its not that simple. i think we've all had that experience here or at least seen it in a post or two SPECIFICALLY over the past day or two....

we all spend so much time together that we are getting on eachother's nerves lol! so everybody should take a deep breath and think about why we are all really here.

It also already has been discussed in another thread.
There is also a system to report which is quoted in the above thread.
There have been behind the scenes moves, too, that won't be seen by anyone, save by those who are directly concerend with, posts edited by the poster, and apologies have been made, too, both publicly, and privately as well, I believe.

Different opinions are fine, so long as stated politely, calmly and rationally. No one needs to agree with others, and no one should force others to agree, either.

You are all on different stages in your journey, which will give you different perspectives. So long as you keep in mind where your emotions lay at certain stages, wherever there are misunderstandings, there are ways to straighten them out. What is most important is

I have to say this.........what I typed in rubutle for the 2 I called upon was not mistyped. I meant what I said. You don't misinterpret the size of genitalia, odors, smells, or let me get you a lawyer if you dont like what you did to yourself afterwards. I cant take a stand down from somthing that bold. Its like my father always told me. You have one life. Its up to you how you use it. If you stand for somthing dont falter.......because if you do......... your just like them.

I love comming here. I will continue to come if im so allowed. This is me.... take me or leave me.

What lisa said! It's better to get things out in the open than feel hurt and go away.

I think a lot of times there are people that only read parts of sentences or not all of what a post says and come to their own opinion about what they "think" the poster was saying..or worse jump to a conclusion that was not even where it was going!

This is such an emotional journey & we have to remember that. We can't stand in judgement of each other because:

each one's journey is his OR hers own. Unique and complicated!!

Sometimes there are days that I think (as I ate something too fast or wrong & vomited right up then and there) that good grief! give me the days back when I could eat whatever..but then I see my before/afters here---THAT's when I know I did the right thing & have only momentary irrational regrets. Never true regrets..

I pray each day to be a joy and pleasure for every one I work with & come in contact with. I only hope that the words I write are interpreted with the love and compassion for where each person is as how -I- mean them to be. Given in love and given in experience..I know where've you've been & where you are going.

Love and Hugs to all...deep breaths as Kenyar said!

i think what makes this board unique is how different we all are, and yet we can still relate on many levels. i understand that people say whats on their mind and it might be offensive to others, but if thats you, say it and keep it moving. personal digs are not necessary. then to edit the post after, is kind of like you knew you were wrong to begin with so why say it in the first place? just to get people riled up?? come on we're all adults here. my personal take is: stick to what you believe in and stay true to who you are without directing towards any individual. only post nonsense if you can handle what comes back at you

I edited my post because I offended people and didnt want to continue offending people. I didnt edit it because I "knew I was wrong" or "knew I had hurt." I said what I said because that is what I know from my experienc and I was being truthful.

That was last week, I apologized, I edited, and today people are still bringing up what I said! Unbelievable!

A lot of you guys on here say you are so supportive and so forgiving, but MsVickie, where is your forgiveness? When I first found you guys after surgery, I thought - WOW, Someplace I can be myself, and get support during this very traumatic time of my life. Man - I was dead wrong. Most of you are so ubelievable and phony its ridiculous. I can't take it anymore nor should I.

Thanks for the two weeks of support I needed. To those of you who aren't hypocrites, God Bless you for sticking around here. Please feel free to contact me if you ever want to have a real conversation or need support. I am here for you.
