One thought. Popping stuff in the microwave is one of the reasons that got you where you were. If you have the time to, you could prepare some stuff on your days off, and freeze them, and nuke them during your work week, then cook them further if you need to. That should save you a lot of time, and you know for sure what's going into your pouch, too.

Well perhaps what you should try doing for CONVENIENCE...if cook on weekends or the night before and have dishes ready for quick heat ups the next day. ITs not easy on working people. WHAT also might work is try some crock pot recipes that cook in the crock pot all day while your at work. USUALLY the tender consistancy of the meat dishes in a crock pot is wonderful for our pouches. JUST some more ideas out there for ya hugs

WOW sounds cool! I think its best to do this way and steer clear of the prepared foods that are over loaded with sodium and other preservatives you dont need. hugs

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I have already been thinking about this part of it all. There are 8 people in this house and my sister in law has taken over most of the cooking. Which is ok by me but it is going to be hard on me and I can't expect them to change for me. Now my hubby will but my brother is a different story..lol... Anyway.. I used to breed birds. And to do this they need fresh foods for them selfs and the chicks. I used to cook a huge pot of my rice bean and veg concoction for them and put it in small single serving sandwich bags and then double bag them in a large freezer bag so they wouldn't get freezer burned. I have thought of doing this for some of the stuff for me not only in the beginning but all along the line. Then I know what is in it and then I have my convenience...(and only have to do my eating dishes..lol anything to not have to do more dishes..) |
