Default it's this too much eating?

well today i was out of control and with food in my mind, for breakfast i had decaffeine cofee with creme and splenda and a can of salmon (like the ones for tuna) with light mayo, then maybe 1 1\2 hours later i ate 5 soda crackers light with light mayo, then about 2 hours later i ate a soup with chicken and chorizo, then 2 1\2 hours later i ate cottate chesse and like 12 shrimps. well today i felt like my 4oz pouch its not working lol, what do you think?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

doesnt seem like too much. the thing is the liquids might be whats allowing you to fit more and keeping you hungry. did you drink the coffee WITH breakfast or separate? also the soupw WITH the chicken?? you have to keep solids and liquids separate or it willpush the food thru which will in turn make you hungry more frequently.

Sorry you had a rough day today with food. We all know how that goes! May I ask you some questions that might help?

Were you hungry? Were you able to stop eating when you had enough food? it sounds like your portions were really fine. Would you have eaten like this before surgery? My guess is that this was a huge improvement from pre-surgical habits. We can't change the past only learn from it.

Was something bothering you? Can you get something to make it feel better? Perhaps talking to a friend, posting here, going for a short walk, cleaning a drawer, reading a book, taking a nap or carving out time for yourself?

Don't beat yourself up! It won't get you anywhere. We're here for you! Be good to yourself.

Amy

PS: My nutritionist told me initially to eat every 2.5-3 hours and now every 3-4 hours. Did yours give you any recommendations?

Edie I was told to eat 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup per meal. I think you are doing just fine sweety. I did want to tell you though my surgeon said that getting too much protein can cause your weightloss to slow down so he doesnt want me to get more then 65 grams of protein a day and only about 30 carbs a day. Maybe your getting too much protein? Just a thought

Just don't compare with how others are eating, you should check out first with your surgeon and nut, and follow their instructions.
What you should look at, is how others improvise to make the food easier to get in, when you are having a difficult time, not the amount, and quite often, not the kind, either, since at the same weeks out from surgery, your surgeon may have you on a different food stage from others.
