Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Default I know how you feel... stuck myself

sounds like we are both stalling together. The scales haven't moved for me in the last 10 days. I lost most of mine the first 2 weeks, now nothing. It is disappointing for sure. I know I am doing what I am suppose to. I am hoping that my body is just trying to catch up. I know I have dropped a size. Maybe my body is busy trying to flush out the fat I am losing. I am definitely pushing water.

I know it doesn't make it feel better for you to know I am in the same boat, but misery does like company. It did help me to know I am not alone with the holding scale.

I also worry about not healing as fast as I think I should. I hear people who had surgery close to my date say they are doing great and not hurting. I still hurt some. I can move wrong and be sore for awhile. I am mostly having trouble with it hurting when I bend over to pick something off the floor. The surgeon said I could start back to exercising at Curves today.... and the thought of it is laughable to me. I had trouble making my bed this morning... it hurt to lift the mattress to put my sheets on. Maybe its my age or my diabetis making me slow to heal.

Any way, hang in there girl. This too will pass and we will be better in a short while.

I had surgery on July 25th to and I lost 18 pounds the first week, since then I have only lost a pound or two. It is depressing and I keep hoping it will get better, otherwise I threw away $30000 cash!!! I still can not get in all of my protein and do not eat near what others are saying that they eat,. I do however get all of my water in. So, I am sad to say, we can all be depressed together! Hopefully if ill start melting off soon!

((HUG))
but as i said prior its normal to hit this everyone with gastric bypass usually
has a slowdown at this time...
dont worry its gonna pick up in no time.
AS you can see these are the moods swings of post op life.
hang in there..
YOU WILL ALL BE SUCCESSFUL BIG LOOSERs but in time.
When i suggested putting down the scale...
i was referring to more like a monthly weigh in
or only at follow ups with the surgeon.

ALSO like doc says get out ur tape measure cause when your not
looseing the lbs on the scale the visual inches are melting away.

Default I'm Steady Too...

Surgery date 7/25 and I am steady at 44 pounds as well. I am getting a bit depressed and not paying attention to my protein. I did go through my closet and try some clothes on and they haven't fit since 2005 - so I know I've lost. But with losing 44 lbs. I expected clothes to fit differently. I havent lost for a week now.

I thought this was the best part - where everything melted off? Is something wrong if its not?

28 pounds of that was PRE OP. I had to do the 2 week liquid diet twice! So we are about the same weight loss post op.

Boots, I know how you feel it is hard to feel don't look at the numbers trust me when I tell you that. Use your clothes as a gauge, it is depressing I know but getting your clothes smaller is a little help.

Sorry, you are going through this.
