Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  Decision This is kind of off topic but I thought I would share as it is as a result of my WLS. Well today I made a decision. I applied to become a police officer in a town near where I used to live (White Plains, NY)  I filed my application and paid my exam fee so I am on my way!!!!!I applied two years ago, passed the written exam and punked out when it came to the physical aptitude test; which isnt even that difficult to be honest. I just couldnt even imagine doing it and passing at 260lbs. But this year, I think I can do it. I would have to run a mile in under 15 minutes, do 30 full sit ups, and 15 full push ups. That's it. No obstacle course or anything. I am going to have to get working on the upper body strength (because i have none). I am really excited  The written exam is sometime in November and the physical test is typically 2 or 3 months later. I can't wait. I have always wanted to be in a field that makes a difference. This is my chance! And also, I wouldnt have to take a paycut as the starting salary is right near what I make at my current job. Great! so, my career is taking form, my health is under control, now all i need is a man in my life and i'll be all set......
