Angry MY pain is GONE!!! I CAN laugh now i wanna ream the surgen office!

I am so angry the thought of that i have been calling my surgens office sence the first week i was home complaining of the pain I had in my side that made it so sleeping laughing sneezeing was excrusiatingly painfull. What did they tell me take a tylonal and it will make you feel better. Ya so i did that did not work.

So all i have to say is going back on my TMI post sence I cleaned my sistem out of what it must have been filled with for the last 4 and 1/2 weeks. I feel GREAT! I HAVE NO PAIN NONE FOR THE FIRST TIME SENCE SURGERY IT JUST WENT AWAY SENCE THE HOLE DEAL WITH YESTERDAY.

I totaly feel like calling the surgens office tomarro and reaming them a new one for just telling me o go take some tylonal well i sat here misrable.

I feel good
I still no im healing but to not have that awful pain is great

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Ashley,

For what it's worth, you're about at the same point where my guts stopped hurting so darned much. Sneezing and laughing were unbearable and I didn't sleep in anything but a recliner until I was back at work (4 weeks). I had a weird 10 minutes or so where it felt like things really hurt then felt like they "fell back into place" (I know it sounds really, really weird). I do believe your other problem was causing most of your pain though. I have a lot of trouble with that too.

TOTALLY TMI (BUT I HOPE IT MAKES YOU SMILE)

I actually clogged the potty so bad it wouldn't flush at all until I plunged last week. It wouldn't even try. I think I actually heard the potty go "help!"

I've been trying to up the fiber this week. My nut said we could have popcorn as long as it was lite, so I'm trying a little of that tonight.... we'll see.

Glad your feeling better. I have to suggest that if you are really not happy with the surgeons office, try to find or go to your own primary care doc along with the surgeon for post op care. My surgeon a few months after i had surgery decided to go on a trip indefintly to AFRICA on a peace mission. While I think that is wonderful and all, i realized that i really didnt need him all that much post op. He worked with the long island bariatric group and the nurse practioner that was there answered alot of my questions for me, followed my labs and guided me on nutrition questions. I also looked for a doctor with some idea of the surgery to follow me as well. The surgeon is there for you for any complications that are major but there are other practioners that can help you along the way as well. I know i have the other surgeon that did the surgery with my surgeon available if god forbid something major came up but for routine follow up care i feel im in good hands.
It is the surgeons job to follow us after surgery . I would demand seeing him if you really feel you need to or demand to talk to him if you feel its serious. But look at other options if you need to as well, just for backup.

Again glad your feeling better.

YAY! glad you are feeling better. i would do what littlelisa suggested and try to use your PCP going forward as your surgeons office is not "user friendly"
