Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | The past two days I have gotten heartburn in the afternoon. The only things I have had are cream of chicken soup, sf strawberry jello, choc. isopure protein drink and sf fudgesicle. Could any of these things cause this or could it just be my new pouch? I go for my follow up visit tomorrow so maybe they can tell me if I can take anything for it.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | The Choclate flavored stuff. Cut it out for a day or 2 and see what happens. Choclate is a major Reflux turn on. I might be wrong and im Pre op but I would try it. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I started the isopure choc. about a month before surgery just to start getting ready. Your lucky. I had a two week liquid diet and then had to drink two laxatives the day before. It was torture.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I eat the fudgesicles too and they are oh so yummy!!! I haven't had a problem with them, as a matter of a fact, they tend to ease my heartburn...I guess because it is so creamy. I will tell you that I can not drink anymore of my protein drinks that I did so well on pre-op. The smell of them now makes me gag. And if I can get it to my lips, it doesn't turn out so well. My ARNP told me that a GBP patient is like a lifetime pregnancy...your tastes are forever changed and changing. |
