Default JUST wanted to post about my post op check up

Well this was my 10 month check up with my surgeon.
HE is very pleased with my losses and called me the
"MODEL PATiENT".

HE really feels im at a good weight...and that the rest
is weight from skin....mentions tummy tuck but honestly
i am not sure i even want that done. I look good in clothes
and so far im okay with that but who knows time will tell
on that.
My blood work was perfect everything is in perfect RANGES!!
I did bring up one area of concern the numbness i get in my
fingers and toes. At first i thought this was the way i was sleeping
causeing the fingers to go numb but have had it in my toes too
during the day....so we discussed this..
he wanted me to now take two chewable centrums and start
takeing a Vitamin B complex.
OTHERWISe a nice visit and he wants me back in
4 weeks on this numbness matter!
I just have to add i love how thorough my surgeon
is! so CAREING! love GOING OT HIS OFFICE!~
well just wanted to share

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

this is great news friend, except the numbness and it's good your surgeon is on top of that
you are an inspiration to us all and if you are comfortable in your clothes and don't want a tt then that's your decision and i just have to say this because somebody close to me is really asserting how important it is to say this to ourselves, "GOOD FOR YOU'

Congrats Lisa, that is such a good update. I am really proud of you and hope that the good news keeps coming. Good luck with the tingling/numbness.

friend - 169? wow, it's great that your scale "whoshed" for you and you are doing so well and are such an inspiration for us all.
in chat the other day when we were talking you said i didn't need to hear those types of things, about the not moving the scale and eating and stuff but i just wanted to let you know that a) i'm glad you felt comfortable being able to share that conceren with us, and b) for all post ops, we pre's know that the aftermath of this surgery isn't a cake walk and it is great to hear the successes but it also helps to hear about the stalls and bad moments (like dumping,), keeps us on a more real level of excpectation for the surgery, even though everybody is different it's good to know what might happen and be prepared for it
keep up the good work

AWWWW Krys!
thanks!
your a great friend and i am glad this board
brought us together! YOUR so supportive as well.
IT seems i have a new looseing pattern and i
must learn to accept it and not get so down when
the scale dont move!
THANKS and yeah i was shocked to finally get out
of the 170's i felt i was there forever! I now weigh
10 lbs lighter then when i got married which at that
time i lost 80 lbs with Nutri system so now i am
truly in numbers that i never enjoyed ever in my
adult years! So this is too cool!
all the best

Lisa, congratulations on your going below 170. That is so awesome. It will be so hard when the weight loss honeymoon is over for me. I really admire you for your ability to stick with it.
