Thumbs up Just want to share Six Flags Trip!

Hi everyone. Had my six flags trip yesturday, first time since loosing weight...Lots happened....First of all the very first ride i went on was kingda ka, and now since i lost the weight i look like i am smaller also{but i am not} lol So of course here comes the measuring stick lololol. Then when they come around to check, she had to push my thing down, there was still room!!! So then i was able to go on all the kiddie rides with the little guys, how cool is that, i fit on baby rollercoasters with no problem. I didnt feel tired walking and walking...i didnt over eat and therefore didnt get sick like i always do at six flags....i woke today and my feet are not sore....We didnt spend a fortune in the candy shop on the way out as we usually do. I even ate pretty good. Had a half crossant and my coffee with protein on the way to the park, one chicken strip and a few fries for lunch, two hanfulls of popcorn for snack and a corn on the cob on the way home. I also had a stallone pudding and half banana when i got home. Now if you would have seen what i ate last year at that same park forget it!!!!!!! I just had to share because i really mean it this surgery has changed my life. I am a new person and able to enjoy my kids now much more. Have a great day!

Have a great day! LisaMarie

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thank you for sharing that with us. I have always been afraid of riding most rides because I was afraid that my weight would throw me out of the ride. I even had this fear when I only weighed 200 lbs. I could use some encouragement right now and your story of your trip has helped me. Thank you for reminding me why I am going through all the ups and downs and stress of learning how to manage my nutrition.

Hey, sounds like you had lots of fun, LisaMarie!!
Your kids must have loved being able to get on the rides with Mom.
It really is great to hear that you had no after effects, the next day, either.
Next stop, maybe Disneyland or Disney World?
Congrats on your daily accomplishments!

wow lm that must have been such a cool experience for you, to get on the kiddie rides with your kids, to have room to push the "thing" down, (i'm supposing safety bars or seatbelts?), i can't remember when the last time i was able to walk around all day and not be major sore. So did you go on all of the rides?
it's great to hear of all of these wonderful moments of change in everybody's lives, keeps us pre-ops inspired and longing to say the same things.
i just had a cool though but it proly would never work out, but how neat would it be if we all got together at a theme park in about 5 yrs for a wonderful day of "wow never thought i'd be able to do that's".

That would be really fun to get together at a theme park for a day of Wowsers... Six Flags in New Jersey seems to be closest for a lot of people especially me if I am still stationed here.

My daughter is 3yrs...and this year I think will be a fun time to take her to a park and ride the kiddie rides...It may be next spring for me though...b/c I am 5'7"...and need to be a LOT smaller to ride those!!! BUT, I WILL DO IT!! You've inspired me!!

Another park that you may want to visit due to the age of your daughter may be Sesame Place. It is in New Jersey also and is supposed to be really fun. We plan on going this summer with our kids for a day since it is free admission again this year for military families. I wanted to go to it last year, but we never made it. They have some water slides and everything like that supposedly. I just want my picture taken with Cookie Monster personally.

I don't think it takes long for most kids to warm up to that show...hehehe. I look forward to going sometime this summer. I won't be doing much of anything extravagant this summer due to the fact that we need to save money for our trip home to Idaho in October. Right now it looks like the plane tickets will cost us about $1400 alone and a rental car for the two weeks about $500. I am trying to convince my hubby to take the train since we can afford to take a couple extra days off, but he isn't crazy about the idea of two days in a train to get there and two days again when we go home. It would save us $500 though. Have any of you ever taken a long trip across country by train like that? Anyways, I am starting to wander..... oops.
