Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Christy, I had a similar experience, but I think it was due to taking too many vitamins at a time. I had pain and the feeling of wanting to throw up for close to three hours. I really am more careful about taking too many pills at once now. I would much rather have had the symptoms for something yummy though instead of just yucky vitamins. :P I am glad to know that it has sparked your resolve though.

Awww, (((((HUGS)))))) christy, so sorry you had a hard time.
When it comes to what makes you dump, or what gives you reactive hypoglycemia, while there is a general class of food that's more likely to than others, it's different with every person, so there's really no way to know except by finding yourself there. That is a bummer for every one, I realize, but, well....just get a lot of rest when that happens.

Hope you are feeling better now, christy.

As for taking many pills at the same time, esp your suppliments, there's always the issue of how much you can absorb in a short length of time, so it's best to space them.

oh christy i'm sorry to hear of your misadventure with the chocolate chip cookies, i obviously haven't had to deal with this issue but i think the fear of dumping will keep me from trying these things too early on, but i would suppose one good dumping episode would cure me for life. Too bad someone couldn't figure out something like that for smokers who want to quit.
however, again sorry you went through it but like you said, now you know not to go to "that side of town" again.

Default Sooo Sorry!

I was DAY #2 the first time I experienced the "dumping syndrome"...thankfully I didn't "hurl"....but the servere cramping and nausea was enough to ward me off sugar.

My Dr. told me to take Liquid Children's Tylenol when I got home during the day...and my hydrocodone at night. Little did I realize that there is sucralose in that type of Tylenol. My doctor said that most people do not react adversely...but, guess I do!

I'm glad...it will keep me away - WAY AWAY - from sugar!!
