Default Bad Board Member! Bad Board Member! But, help!

Hiya all, I am just alllllllllllllllllllllllll tied in knots with my life right now (major move, empty next (my DD is headed for 1st grade), just turned 37 and I have no more babies...blah blah blah...

ANYWAY. I am just shy of 5 months out and I'm 100lbs down. I'm 75-85lbs w/in my goal. Ummm, why am I depressed? Why do I think all of a sudden that it's NOT going to work and I'm not gonna make goal. WTH?

I know I've not been here in a looooooong time, but hoping someone can clue me in. TIA~

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Honestly we all have these feelings. Whether it be the new WLS patient or the person who has reached goal. I honestly think its from the YEARS of dieting and failing. You will succeed as long as you use your tool. I know you have heard this 100 times but its true. As long as you follow the guidlines you will do great

AWWWWW! first off congrats on your loss so far!!! thats AMAZING! second, we all feel like that from time to time. you'll get there. i wish i was further out so that it would mean more lol! but we're here to be supportive and what not. i get the weepies and feel down in the dumps A LOT. i whine on here CONSTANTLY. i am surprised no one has asked me to stop lol. but as much as we are used to believing we will fail at weightloss due to our previous track record, know that this will work it will. you have everything that you need (including 100 lbs down) to get you there. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Hi Butterfly, I was wondering just yesterday where you were and how you were doing, looking at your B/A pics up in the rotating album.

First off, congratulations on hitting Century Club!! That is grand, just grand.
Second, it sound as if you have hit the 4/5 month blues. Watching the board, where you are at seems to be a very common time the post op blues set in. Somethng quite common, actually. A lot of the oldies will tell you, been there, done that.
That said, if this is the kind of downer that affects your daily performance in whatever, it probably is best to get professional help.

(((((((HUGS))))))) May your journey go well.

Yeah....it wasn't in the manual about all the emotional stuff we go thru does it? But it is definitely something that we go thru from time to time. Just focus on your achievements this far. It is AMAZING to have lost 100 pounds in 5 months girl! That is AWESOME!!! Keep up the good work and keep your eyes on the "prize". You can do this!!!
