Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Got my resulta back from the Doc on my 1 year chkup Well we have good news and not great news. my labs came back . looks like the proteins in the pee came back normal. my good cholesterol is good and my back chol. is 103. not great BUT considering I was on meds before surgery cause they were over 200 I'm thinking yippeeee. my sugar was 87 and my a1c came back with flying colors. B12 is in the toilet.  I'm starting shots tomorrow. ah well better than being 262 pounds!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Sounds like you are doing great though. Congrats. I had my labs done last week and all was good. Sugar a little high but I had quit taking all Rx except one pill in the morning and my sugar would fall to a 40 -60 and I would almost pass out so I quit taking it. Dr. put me on 1 pill a day aagain now but a low dosage. My iron was excellent. I take 1 iron pill a day though. I ask her if I needed a B12 shot and she said NO, Don't mess with what ain't broke. To just keep doing what I am doing. I am off almost all of my Rx now. Was taking 12 pills a day before surgery. Ain't it great? Loving this new life. Mattie
