I had my Surgery 1 week ago today. Tommorow is my followup visit w/my surgeon. It has been an interesting week to say the least. Any insights, or tips for what I have in store would be appreciated. I mourned food and it was depressing. I cried all the time and felt sorry for myself. Then I found the support of this thread and started feeling better each day. My recommendation is to spend time in the threads. Look first at the post op stuff, it will inspire you. Then go to the profiles section and learn about the different people and personalities. We are very lucky to have a REAL dr. watching over the posts. That is one thing that sold me to this site. I know that DOC is watching and will monitor suggestions or ideas. You are going to do wonderfully. Try to stay positive and feel free to post away! |
