 |  Dr. visit today I had an early morning visit to the Orthopedic doc. He is the one that will be replacing my hip. I told him about being layed up all summer with my foot and finally finding out it is arthritis for sure. He asked about my weight loss and I told him about being in the clearance stages for my surgery. I said to him that after months and months of self searching I made a decision and went to the Dr. And then found out I will be waiting another six months ..lol.. He is all for it, and thinks it is a good move for me as well. He is going to have me get some updated xrays of my hip to keep updated on it. (I have avascular necrosis of my hip joint which means that the ball joint has died from lack of blood flow. My weight turned my pelvis over the years and child birth didn't help. It is a long story) He agreed with me wearing a neoprene foot brace when I start up water aerobics again in late September. I said the whole right side of my body is a mess and he said well most of it we can replace and gave me a big smile..lol he is something..So at least he feels I can wait a while yet as long as the xrays don't show any progressive problems. Yeah weee..lol..  Next is the Nut next week on the fifth..
