That's why you heal without losing weight. Truly ill people's body reacts by sacrificing itself to heal, so to speak.

Boots Im sorry you are having a hard time. I can only imagine. I guess I can say Im one of the lucky ones who have not had any compliations and I have done well so far with things. My surgone had told me that it was a gamble going in. Some peopel do well and others dont. I think that is part of the reason why I hesitated for so long to do this surgery. I do think that it is good for people to know ahead of time before they do surgery that this isnt always just a quick fix and the easy way out. You can certainly atest to that.
Im sure it its very frustrating for you. I can only imagine how hard all of this is on you. I do think like Kenya says you will look back on here in a few months and say wow look where I was. But that right now this is the moment and its gotta be hard. Just try to take it one day at a time and hopefully it will get better each day. Like Lisa said, just adjusting to having surgery and having no complications is very hard but you have been given more than alot of us. Someone upstairs must think you can handle this. Hang in there and keep your chin up. You can vent all you want on here. Thats what we are all here for.

Edie I am sorry you have such a hard time with this surgery. I know I have been a little skeptical of posting my weightloss and wows because I know it upsets you. I am so sorry you arent seeing the results that some of us are seeing but I think once you get over all the crap that your body is going through you will breeze through this like those of us who havent had problems. If it will help I will not post my accomplishments anymore and just be a supporter. I hate that you feel so rotten.

| HAY I thought I was the queen of complain.... smile hun I know how it feels to think that the dark cloud is hanging over you. I just remember that in there somewhere is a rainbow I just have to keep looking for it. And I know you will also find yours. One of my things I say to myself is.. Don't let the bad things that happen to you in your life change you on the inside because in the end that is what shines through.

Well, I am one of the ones you hate, because I have had no complications. And I feel so bad for you. I have been reading about your struggle since i have been on this site, in fact it almost scared me out of having it done. But on the flip side, my surgery was JUly 24, and I have only lost 28 lbs since then (lost the other 20+ before surgery), so you and I are in the same boat there. No pounds melting off for me either. But we blame same thing lol. I say it's BECAUSE I'm doing so well that I haven't lost. I can eat almost ANYTHING already (except chicken occassionnally), but I am still following the rules, and still nothing. We just have to keep the faith, I guess. But ALWAYS know I think of you, and pray for you, that things will get better soon. ((((HUGS))))
