| These Hormones SUCK
Ok so tmorrow will be 2 weeks since Will left. Mind you I should be use to him being gone but dang it I am missing him so much tonight . I have no idea how I am going to do this for 15 months. I mean the kids are driving me insane just after 2 weeks. I am moody and I miss my hubby. I know alot of my is because of TOM and the fact that I am a hormonal mess. Can you believe I am trying to talk him into re-enlisting for the remaining 10 years he has left. I must be out of my mind. I mean in the 12 years we have been married I have lived with him maybe 6 because of deployments and such. I just want this war to end and our soldiers to beable to come home and stop these rediculouse long deployments. I know I am a whiner....sorry I just needed to vent

Awwww(((((((((HUGS))))))))))
It must be very hard for all the familes with deployed family members, and it is on yours and your husband's sacrifice, and so many many more others, that the safety of our world depends on. No matter what the *leaders* and *politicians* of our world do, the true labor rests on the shoulders of people like you and your Will. It isn't easy to keep up a brave facade, either, and you know we're here to lend you an ear and to give you a hug, whatever you have to say.
Kudos to your strength and courage.

I know how you are feeling right now, and I know how hard it must be with just having gone through the surgery on top of it. I can honestly say that I never want to go back to those days. My husband got out after 16 years...and I was so happy! He just couldnt do it anymore. Just remember that we now have things like the computer to keep in touch with them, I know that isnt as good as seeing them face to face, but it sure is alot better than calling into a line on the base and getting connected to him for a few minutes. LOLOL and the HAM radio's...OVER. LOLOL!! Just start making your plans for that awesome homecoming!!

Thanks you 2. I do feel a little better I have talked to him a few times today and the last time he called I was a mess and he set me straight again. As much as I bitch about this life I do also love it at the same time. I dont know if I would really like civilian life too much. I tried that when he went to Iraq the 1st time and it just wasnt right. I think for me its the stress of this new life. Now I cant eat my pitty away so I have to deal with it. We have been here 3 years and I have NO friends that are military wives. Hell I dont even have friends really so it makes it harder then when I had a whole group of them that I hung out with. I have become such a hermit these past 3 years. I am hoping that the weightloss will allow me to become more social again. Anyways thanks for letting me vent

| (((((HUGS))))) I hope things get better soon! I work around lots of military folks and their spouses and I don't know how you all do it! My hat's off (or it would be if I had one on!). You'll find some friends (not that you don't have friends here)! Have you thought about putting the kids in something where you could meet some folks too? Or maybe joining a walking group or something?

Hang in there Becka. You will start feeling more energy and get out there and make friends. Just look for the opportunites. Nothing like military wife friends, they really know what you are going through. Do you live on base?

Girl I Know How You Kind Of Feel. Well My Dh In Not In The Military But I Have Lived In This Are For 3 Years Now And Dont Have Too Many Friends Either. All My Friends Are Like 1hr And Half Away. Im Hoping Now That Im Losing Wt And Feeling Not So Slugish Like I Did Pre-op I Will Get Out More And Meet Other Moms Or Somthing.
Oh Here Is Maybe One Way You Can Meet People. I Joined Back In April And Did Meet Some Nice Moms That I Do Talk To Once In A While And See Them At Meetups. Its Called Meetup.com Now You Dont Necessarily Have To Join A Moms Group You Can Join Anything That You Might Have An Interest In For Your Area. And If You Dont See Somthing Near Where You Live You Can Create A Group For Others To Join. Its Really Fun Us Moms Meet Up All The Time And Do Thing With The Kids And Also Moms Night Out. Check It Out. My Sister Did And Her And Her Fiancee Joined A Group Geared Towards Chawawa Dog Owners. Lol. And These People Meet Up In The Park With Their Dogs So The Dogs Can Play With Each Other And The Owners Can All Mingle. Go Check It Out And Let Me Know What U Think. There Is Like Every Subject Group You Can Think Of All Over The U.s. And Other Countries. Its Free.
