Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  I Did It!!!!! Hi all, I just got back from dinner with my dearest friend, Donna. I told her about the surgery and all of the things I have been through (clearances, test, Dr's etc...) for the last 6 months. And have now decided to go ahead with surgery and it will be next Monday the 17th. Well her reaction was pretty good. She wanted to know the dangers and the down side to the operation but she did say she supports me know matter what. She told me she has stuck by me right or wrong for over 40 yrs and she is not stopping now. She also said she is not jealous, or envious but she did say she wishes she had the courage to do it, but she said she never could. She told me she loved me and thats good enought for me. I want to thanks everyone for their support and letting me vent last night. Things went pretty good I would say. Thanks again.

| I have one of those friends (her and I are friends for 35 years). I have not told her yet because I was worried she would be upset. She was really upset this year when I told her I had breast cancer..(and after telling her I needed a hip replacement not long before that..lol)POOORRR girl.. But I love her to death.. So I have been putting off telling her about this.. I hope my telling her goes as well as your telling your life long friend.. (and you only need one of them dont you.. ) Good luck with the up coming surgery we will be pulling for ya.. They are looking at March for my surgery.. Its seems so far away...
