| WLS Mentor  |  Guess What! WWWOOOHHHOOO! I PASSED MY NUTRITIONIST APPOINTMENT. SHE SAID IT WILL TAKE ABOUT ONE TO TWO WEEKS FOR ME TO KNOW MY ACTUAL SURGERY DATE! I'M SO EXCITED! IF I COULD DO CARTWHEELS I WOULD! HEY SOON I'LL BE ABLE TO DO CARTWHEELS!HEHE  I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ACTUALLY GONNA HAPPEN! IT'S BEEN 6 YEARS AND I WAS STARTING TO THINK IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN BUT I AM SO CLOSE NOW I CAN ALMOST TASTE IT AND IT'S EVEN SWEETER THAN CHOCOLATE. thank you all for all of your terrific support, i can't wait to meet you on the losing side. (the poem bandit is speechless, for once) hehe

| WLS Mentor | Thanks guys i have a feeling you'll be seeing alot of me in stupid questions over the next few weeks, right now i still feel so pumped. i can't think straight. had a hard time sleeping last night even with my sleeping pills. i want to do cartwheels, and flips and happy dances, but that'll have to wait till i get to a reasonable wait so i just sit here bouncing and typing. thank you all for your great support, this site has been become very important to me and my sanity through the waiting game so i just wanted to thank you all for your support, inspiration and advice. it's really great to talk to people who are in and have been in the same situations i have with weight. oh i feel a good bye to food letter from the poem bandit coming on. thanks again freebird

| WLS Mentor | thanks a little bit of a set back today though. the psychiatrist here sent confirmation that i was seeing him to the psychiatrist office in rochester the day i visited him (i think it was April 19th) but he was supposed to send it to Dr.O'Malleys office (the surgeon). now why the psychiatric hospital couldn't have sent the fax over to his office is beyond me, they are in the same hospital just different areas. also when i called she said that they didn't have the initial letter from my family dr. wich i know i brought with me the 2nd time i went down,so i looked through my binder and he wrote the initial letter to him in March of 2005, so i can't even just fax the one i have she wants a more recent one. and my question was "and when had you planned on telling me this" no i didn't aske her but i thought it. if i hadn't have called who knows how long it would have taken for them to let me know this, it's been more than a year already. oh and even though i was approved through the nutritionist office it's gonna take at least 3 weeks before the surgeon gets it. Duh the nutritionist office is in the same place as the surgeon's office, so why that would take so long i have no idea. i know they have lots of patients but i mmean c'mon.....so it will be longer than i expected to know my actual surgery date, but i'm still excited that i'm so close thanks again for all of your support

I know its so hard waiting each day and your doing this with such patience! (HUG) and im so glad your on top of all your papers! YOU sound very well organized!
