| "Hanky Panky"....??? OK...first off...keep it carefully clean, so we don't offend anyone...it's just a simple (but fun) topic...I don't want CraigT to Loop me off! Tee hee... Ok, so here's the question: How long until your doctor cleared you for Hanky Panky?? I asked mine at my one week visit on Thursday...and I'm cleared. (but still nervous...) How long did you wait? If not long was it painful on your tummy. I may have more questions if you will allow me, but will privately msg. so I won't offend... on lookers! Thanks everyone!! |

actually femme, i was wondering about this the other day. I've also heard that sex drive increases, so if people feel comfortable, and can keep it clean like you said, i would very much like to see posts on this issue.
thanks

Hmmm. Well, while you are losing all your excess fat, it will play havoc with your hormones as well...what happens there is different with each and everyone, and that's (including the hanky panky, you're all basically healthy young women, so no way avoiding the Q) a Q for your surgeon for sure. Be aware, though that (I do think your surgeons will have warned you of this) women usually become more fertile than pre-op but you should avoid pregnancy until you have attained goal.
About pregancies, I have read somewhere that women who have had WLS tend to have a healthier pregnancy because they are very aware of their diet and exercise, and work hard to keep everything healthy. Nothing to prevent you from becoming a joyous mother post op.

Cool Doc, thanks for the info.
about being pregnant, I do really want a child but was abit worried about the pregnancy and gaining weight. I do plan to be careful after the surgery about becoming pregnant and pretty much figure that i won't be ready to go on that journey for another 2 or 3 years, if i can still have children by then.

He's worried too about my incision! It's a bit okward to ask the surgeon I feel embarrassed.
FemmeMode do you have your surgery open too?
