Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  A little eye contact goes a long way I dont know about most of you but through out most of my life I have avoided direct contact with people...especially strangers, and especially strangers of the opposite sex. Tonight I decided to do something a little different. I took Kayla for "treat day" (fast food) I didnt get anything after the McDonald's fiasco. But, as we were leaving, a guy was approaching the door to the restaurant. I thought about looking away quickly and moving out of the way or grabbing the other door to let myself out, but I didnt. He held the door. And I said thank you, and we both kinda stood there for a minute. DIRECT EYE CONTACT and then we parted ways. Kayla and I were walking to the car when he came outside and asked if we could talk. Of course i stuffed Kayla in the car (lol) and talked for a few minutes. Just long enough to exchange numbers and make a tentative plan for Saturday. So, my first accomplishment is I made eye contact and spoke to someone I didn't know.  and it actually worked out well. I have a date on saturday afternoon i'm thinking about doing this more often...saying hello and stuff to strangers--it's not so bad afterall. now onto step 2; i actually have to go out with the person LOL!
