Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  PCP Visit Ok, so I went in for my second B-12 shot today and my PCP wanted to document my weight since the last time was PRIOR to my liquid diet! OMG< I weighed 282 in June and today it was 242! I thought that the nurse was going to start crying! My PCP said that he is kinda new to the whole GB stuff but is estatic that I no longer need the BP meds! He said that he wants me to get weighed each month I come in for the shot so that he can see the documentation even when he didnt see me. I walked out of there feeling soooo good today. I have a WONDERFUL PCP and am so glad that he is the easiest person in the world to talk to. HE even calls me back when I have questions...NOT his Assistant!! Anyway, I just wanted to share a lil WOW moment of my own. |

And after he takes it out, I am going to ask if I can cut the lil booger up with scissors! LOLOL Get this, NO ONE in the house has taken care of the pool since the surgery because as I have said...I am not going to go out there and clean it for them when they are the only ones that can use it now! Anyway, my husband asked me last night to test the water and see what all it needed and he would get out there this weekend and make sure that it is ready to go after the tube is gone! YEAH!!!! I think I am gonna sleep in there the first day I get in it!! LOLOL |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Christy, So far my doc is the only one who uses this. Dont worry. You will have AT LEAST one in the hospital though! You should have a JP tube, some docs leave them in for a week or two, but mine took it out the morning that I was discharged! Thank goodness, I dont think I could have handled 2 to clean and take care of. LOLOL |
