Yup, talk to your PCP first.
Even if you didn't really thing of the TT, if you can get insurance to pay, then, having it done isn't such a bad idea, I think it will make you feel better, actually.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I use to get that rash alot before my surgery Kenya, I know how annoying and painful it is. So far I haven't gotten it, and hope I don't. All of the advice given to you is good, hopefully one of the items will help you. Take pictures!!

Kenya,

I've had two C-Sections and had a lot of floppage to start with. It has a tendancy to do that if you get hot, no matter how clean you try to be. Basically you just can't stay dry enough. Corn starch is good to start with, but if it gets infected, desenex or cruex. But like they said, best to see the PCP to get it documented and let them look at it. Technically what it usually turns into is the same infection as jock itch, athletes foot, ringworm, etc.... I used to sweat like a monster so I had lots and lots of trouble with it. Usually right around my C section incision. As long as I stayed powdered I was good to go.

I like Vagisil powder myself. Actually some of the guys I know use it if they start having jock itch problems....

How big do you think you'll get with a pregnancy? I sure don't think as much as pre WLS you.

Usually, post-baby, no flab, really, just some stretch marks at most, and a slightly looser skin, from my experience (as a normie). You'll be instructed how to watch your diet, and how much weight you can gain-- here, the total obs usually instruct is 6-7 kg from one's original weight, that's 13.2-15.4 lb. 3-3.5 kg (6.6-7.7 lb) for the baby, total 1kg (2.2 lb) for the water and placenta, and the other few kgs for the milk and reserve for baby and mommy.

So, no, it won't be a waste. Besides, you can talk it over with the surgeon beforehand.

Well if you want a really flat tummy, then you'll have to wait after the babies. If you are fine with some flab that is proof of your efforts, then pre-babies will be fine. I mean, I do NOT have a flat tummy, but it's small enough not to cause any realistic trouble, just that it sometimes is noticiable if I do not wear a tight body suit when wearing a tight body hugging dress--which I don't, anyway.

As for the wait, not as much as you are told to wait for a baby after WLS. Probably 3-6 months is enough, or if you are breast feeding, then you may be told to wait until the baby's weaned.
