Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Need to Vent I should be so happy now and I'm not. I completed my degree  this month. I no longer have to work and go to school. My weight loss is going well. Yet my husband is driving me insane. I choose to have the surgery because of weight gain associated with lupus and asthma. Both conditions are treated with prednisone. I have been taking steroids for the last 16 years.Not only am I accused of everything and everyone under the sun, I now have to fight over the stupidiest things. Paying bills have become a major battle ground. My husband works for Coke and am a Lab Tech at Emory. We have been together for over 9 years. HIs behavior is steadly getting worse each month. It had started even before my surgery. We fought over 2 hours because I bought Hungry man pancake mix instead of Aunt Jemina. I wore one of his tee shorts and that caused total war for about 2 days. I feel he's draining me of all my joy. I've gotten to the point I hate to be home when he's home. To top off everything, I own the house. I'm sorry for such a long posting I'm just really ready to consult a divorce lawyer since he refuses couseling.
