Exclamation 1 week to go!

Yikes only one week until my surgery. I still don't feel prepared at all. I think I am avoiding the prep as I am nervous about the lifetime change I have chosen. I am excited at the same time however. You have all seemed to have such great success and I would love to have that success as well. I would like to set a goal to lose 20-30 pounds by Christmas, do you think that is reasonable?
I have a question about yougurt I buy the light yogurt with no fat. It however has 13 grams of sugars. Isn't that too much sugar for me to eat after sugery? If so, what brands do you buy?
Let me know... thanks
Laurie

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

yeah i think the sugar comes in to play with the "fruit on the bottom" type yogurts. i was told to stay away from the fruit yogurts because of the sugar and the seeds. check with your nutritionist as we have all had different instruction.

Kenya... will do thanks. I steer away from fruit on the bottom anyway ... I really don't like them. I love the vanilla flavor of most yogurts.

Lovie, our surgery is almost the same day. Mine is this Friday on 9/28. We will be right there together along the same time. And, YES, according to everyone else's success rate on here, you should definitely be able to lose 20 pounds by Christmas. I wish you the best of luck.

Christie,
How are you doing? Are you having to do the liquid diet all week? I don't have to until the day before. I am trying to cut my carbs down this week and eat/drink more liquids than solids. I am most nervous about being a failure after surgery. I am more worried about that then the surgery.
