Default Yogurt and cottage cheese

Well, it sure is a good thing that I like yogurt and cottage chesse. It seems like that is all I like to eat. Nothing else even sounds good.

Yesterday I out a sirloin tip roast in the crockpot with veggies and cooked it all day. It smelled wonderful! The meat was actually falling apart. But of course when I tried to eat it, it go stuck and I yakked. This is only the second time that has happened (once before with chicken), but it hurts like hell when it gets stuck and makes me not want to eat ever again! I wonder why it gets stuck so high up when the surgery was done much lower. To me it feels like it gets stuck at the top of the esophagus, nowhere near the pouch. I chew everything until it is mush, I just don't get it. I have had steak, pork tenderloin, etc. with no problems, but every now and then something doesn't sit well. Funny I can take my vitamins whole with no problems. Weird!~ So, I think I will stick with my yogurt and cottage cheese, I love it and it loves me!! Although I hsave a hard time getting in enough protein and I can hardly stand the shakes anymore. SOmetimes I really miss eating normally and not having to worry about if Oscar the pouch will tolerate it. It kinda sucks the life out of you~!~

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

The booklet I received with my surgery said no beef for 6 months so haven't tried it at all. I have had vegetarian refried beans with 1 slice of cheese and a little sour cream - they have gone down really well - also a little water packed tuna with small amt of baked potatoes with sour crem. You had your surgery just before mine and I too am tired of the protein drinks - I have tried the chocolate protein pudding and liked that too.

I had the same problem as you. Come to find out I cannot eat anything cooked in the crockpot or left overs. Also I now take protonix in the morning and a pepcid before lunch and supper. I have not puked since. Try it. Maybe it will help. Mattie

I buy my pudding at either Hi Health or GNC - but making my own sounds like a better deal all around - thanks for the recipe - I will try it when I run out of the canned stuff.
