I went to see my primary doctor today. It was the first time I had seen him since before my first visit with the surgeon. It has been about 5 months. I had a blood test last week to see where I was at. Doc said no sign of diabetes. I have been off of diabetes meds since surgery. My A1C was 5.2 My Cholesterol was actually low. 84 He took me off of my Cholesterol meds for now. The swelling in my legs were way down. My Blood pressure was 120/68 A great check up. Doc was quite pleased and told me it definitely was a wise choice I made to have this done. At least in my case it has been great. I have still been tolerating everything quite well. I feel like I want to start on solid foods but I won't for a few more weeks. I feel great, Just wanted to give you guys an update. Its been a week or so since I posted. I decided not to buy a scale. thanks for all the support on that one. I cannot give you an update on the weight loss my doctor does not have a scale in his office that can handle my weight. I see him again in three months. I bet his scal will work just fine by then. Take care all of you and good luck to all you that are scheduled for surgery. Tony.

Congratulations on your weight loss and the great results from your PCP visit. If you don't have the scale numbers, measure your progress by your clothes sizes, so how many sizes have you gone down, now? (((((HUGS))))) May your journey go well.
