Thanks for everyone's support. Tonight was another war of quiet, but at least wasn't screaming. She sat with us at dinne even if she did refuse to eat or talk to us. I think she understands I'm not playing games but she also doesn't feel bad (or least won't let me think she does) about anything she has done. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks again for the prayers I need and she needs all we can get. |

AN update. my daughter is talking to us and finally admitted we may be right about school and her friends. She talked to her cousin last night and after much crying from both of them she is ready to talk and listen. A few years ago we lost a nephew/cousin (17 years old) to sucide who had some of the same issues as my daughter and her cousin told her that she couldn't handle losing another cousin the same way that made my daugter start listening. |

my rule around the house has always been "failure to plan on your part does not constitute a crisis on mine" and I tell my kids they can do anything...if they don't know how, let me teach them. There is a Dr. James Dobson that is a Christian speaker and he has seminars on Focus on the Family and radio shows. His films were very very helpful when I was going through what you are now. I am glad that she is talking to you guys now...a very important tool at this age is to definately keep the lines of communication open whether it be good or bad in thier eyes.
