| I have a crazy question. My surgery is Friday. Assuming everything goes good, will I be able to go to the State Fair on Oct. 21st? I definitely am not going to ride any of the rides, but should I be ok to walk around the fair by that time? Thanks!!! ![]()

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I would say that if all goes well you should be good for some walking around the fair. Like Kim said, Im not too sure I would do the rides but I think it would be good for you. By then you would be what 2 or 3 weeks out. Good luck on Friday. How exciting. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | it will depend on YOU and how you feel. at 3 weeks i was walking regularly. i cannot say i could walk all day because i tired out real quick that early out. but you'll be able to figure out what you can and cant do by that time. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | hard to say everyones recovery goes different. I know for me doing that so soon would have totally wiped me out to exhaustion. LO energy that soon out..... i went back to work early but i was able to take 1 hour power naps. I think walking around a fair is gonna totally wipe u out but were all different! hugs and good luck on ur surgery!

| Thanks everyone. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nervous. It's so funny because I'm not nervous about the surgery part at all. I am EXTREMELY nervous about after the surgery. I keep thinking....."how will I know what to do? how will I know what not to eat? how am I going to remember all of this stuff?" Sometimes, it seems so scary.
