I would do what the ladies say and check out the meds route first. If not what may work for you is that I always have a cooler bag with me. It has water, cheese sticks other protiens in it and that way i reach for them and not the carbs. Carbs is easy to grab but I really make a point of reaching for the protein stuff. Good luck.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I get night hungers too. And for me the carbs are killers too. If I am going to allow myself something carb related I make sure I eat something with it first that is filling, Like carrots or a SF jello something that will help kick that hunger in the butt or else I would sit and eat the whole can of pringles. Or half a bag of pretzels, that way I get a little of what I am craving but not enough to kill the day for me.

Are you going too long between meals? I read somewhere to never go 5 hours without food because you will be too hungry to control yourself and eat right if too much time has passed.

Smile Thank you everyone!

Thank you everyone for the nice replys. I called my doc and made an appointment to talk over things. I have suffered with major and manic depression for years and maybe the meds need to be adjusted. I do appreciate the support anyone can get on this site. What a blessing to have friends like all of you to talk too. God Bless us all.....Bonnie

We appreciate you too, Bonnie. And don't forget the bright side. You are 55 pounds lighter than you use to be. So, you must have done something right. You will be fine. We are all here for you.

Hang in there Bonnie - a trip to the Dr is probably a good choice. I am not as far out as you are but I have been listening to everyone and I found my old lunch bag from my nights as a nurse - gonna get it ready - I have the ice bags in the freezer - hope you will hang in there and know this forum is here for you!
