Default It has begun....

few strands in the shower....more on the brush....some on my pillow....

I kinda thought I had another month, but then someone said around the 50 pound mark.....so yes, the shedding has begun.....

contemplating a Britney, but I would have to go buy shears or wind up in the tabloids LOL

I hope the new hair is nice....and not so gray!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Kath this is one of the hardest parts of the journey I feel so far. IT does get better. Mine started out slow and then really started coming out but now its slowing down again. Luckily I have kinda thick hair. But in the long run I feel its so much worth it. I would rather be healthier and they say teh hair will come back. Which I am seeing little sprouts sticking up here and there. Hang in there KAth.

yeah. i "shedded" alot at one point. cantruthfully remember when it started but ut has since stopped. the biotin helped with the new growth (i think) who knows really. it will slow down and or stop at some point. you wont go bald. but DONT CUT IT, it will take forever to grow back LOL!

I am taking the biotin...and the protein I'm currently using has biotin in it! I was just teasing about cutting it....I chopped off 12 inches about a year ago....there's not much left to lose!!

I have noticed mine starting to shed more too. I thought since I am on another friggin plateau that it wouldn't happen. I guess I need to up the protein. I know I definitely need to cut the carbs.

My hair started falling out at about 3 mo, and has not stopped since. Its funy you said something about gray ...... I have never had any, but my new growth is coming in white .... Im only 30 and it sucks not only bald but going white! LOL! I did cut my hair last week, its never been long but now its pretty short and I think looks better than it has in a long time. Best wishes! kathyanne

I am so sad, I too am beginning to "shed". I have such fine, thin hair that this is a real concern to me. I can't afford to lose much or I will be bald! It wouldn't be so bad if I had lost 100 pounds or something, but I seen to be stuck at 40-45 pounds. Too bad wigs look so horrible and are so hot! How can a be a sex symbol with the hair of a baby??

I know what you are all going through--I hate the hair shedding thing!! But I do have to say it is coming back for me--and I am losing more hair!! It keeps shedding and regrowing!! I am also on the Biotin pills. Guess it's something we will all go through--the price we are paying--but don't you all feel better with the weight off?? They do make some nice wigs now--I bought one, but I've yet to wear it--haven't needed it yet. Hope you all start seeing the little hairs coming back in--I get so excited seeing them!

With a bad thyroid I shed hair for years and it was bad most winters. I would get some back over the summer but I have always had thin hair. Now that I don't have a thyroid anymore and my numbers are more in line my hair has finally after thirty years stopped falling out and has grown back some in the past year and half. Look at it this way, it is a one time thing and when its done it will grow back and you wont have that huge mess of hair in the brush every day anymore.. Hang in there guys it does grow back
