Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I have to say that there was not a single pound lost so far that felt as good as my clothes getting looser and then going down a size! Then filling a box for Goodwill with the clothes I will never wear again because they are too big!

I'm only 8 days out but as I started out on the lighter side and dieted pre-surgery, I don't have any great initial weight loss expectations.

And for that reason, I decided to throw my scales away prior to surgery.

I'm with traciflud. There is NOTHING like packing up clothes for the Goodwill.

I just had surgery 9/28/07 but I am down 26 pounds so far. This is including the 10 day liquid diet I had to do before my surgery.

Honey Its all gonna be different. Somthing I have noticed is the bigger you are the more you lose at first. This being I think because Me myself being a larger one eat more than the ones that wieghed less. After this we pretty much eat the same amount with the same calorie content. Thus making the heavier ones lose more at first. I might be wrong about this be it seems to be true. Honey your gonna lose weight so don worry about it. Try to stay off the scales. I have noticed people on here are much more happier when they stay off them or dont have one readily avaiable. My hubby asked me again after the visit with my Dr if I wanted him to run into Walmart to get one. I told him he was crazy and NO! LOL I will see my Dr for each week for a while then once a month. My best friend has one in her bathroom if i need to go look. Just relax do what you were told and it will come off.
