| Well -- My time has come
Well, I thought I noticed it last night -- but wasn't sure... This morning when I took a shower and washed my hair... no doubt... definitely happening.... my hair is coming out...
Its not like I didn't know it was coming...
The problem is, my hair was fine and thin to start with... so am I going to look like I have mange or something? Do I need to start wig hunting? How do you all think I would look with a shaved head?
Just kidding about the mange and the shaved head. But I am a vain person, and this is going to be difficult....

I was told the hair loss wouldn't be enough for a wig. I am sure you are beautiful no matter what look you decide on.

LOLOLOL, I am right there with you on the baby fine thin hair...I dont have enough to lose!!! Iknow that I am fighting the inevitable, but I take my boitin as well as use the biotin shampoo and conditioner about 5 times a week. I dont want patches, bald head or a wig. LOLOLOL Vain is a good word to use, as it fits me to a T as well.

Do you think if you upped your protein in take a bit and added some of the "good" fats to your diet (like avacado) that might help? And wasn't there a post on the forum here awhile back with some other helpful hints for hair loss? I do remember someone said it is only temporary -- only last a little while until your body adjusts. I can relate to the vainty part -- I just colored my grey this morning and would really hate to see the hair start falling out! But it is true that the real beauty is inside not on the outside -- so hang in there honey~!

Mine was baby fine as well. Please go out and buy the Nioxin shampoo, scalp therapy, and deep scalp therapy stuff. It has made the biggest difference in my hair. I also got a trim and the Nioxin gel and I no longer blowdry or use any heat on my hair. I will try and post a picture tomorrow so you all can see that this stuff is magical. I have body and I mean to tell you I am still losing hair. Walmart has Nioxin, even Target

I havent heard of this shampoo...I have to get mine from the Vitamin Shoppe and it is a bit on the expensive side. Also, it doesnt dry my hair out.

good luck. its gonna fall out anyway no matter what you do. up your protein, eat fat, its from the rapid losing. instead of spending the money on shampoos and what not, save it for clothes
