Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | My surgeon is 3 hrs. away so I've never been to his support group. There is one at the hospital here but it meets very sporadically, always on a night when I am out of town, it seems. I like support group when I am able to get there but lots of times, the focus is on the pre-ops, which is a problem with many groups. I also like what Clancy said, if I feel like talking about something at 3 am, I can post it or I can look for info on the board. I love being able to come in when something is going on and not have to wait a month to talk about it at support group, which no one may show up for. You guys are awesome!!

That is once a month and this is part of our lives.. I will go but I really don't think I will find people like you guys there. It is hard to have friendship with people you see once a month or only a few times a year..
