Worst...1) the pain in my left side that took FOREVER to go away (and having to ask my husband to help me ummm clean up after going potty!)
2) Scale stalls
3) breaking off my relationship with bread....bread may never forgive me!
Best...the intense energy I feel....I haven't felt this good in years!...Smaller clothes & knowing I will be SO MUCH HEALTHIER in the long run! Getting back in the gym...pushing myself to succeed!

Hmmmmm your making me think.
Worst: knock on wood I have been pretty lucky with my jounrey. I guess I would have to say the mind part that I wasnt aware was gonna be so challenging sometimes.
Best: Being on a new road to be so much more healthy and being off blood pressure meds and doing activies with my children and just feeling so much better about myself.

That's a really good question. As far as worst, my journey hasn't been bad at all. No pain, no food intolerances. It has been a breese. BUT.....it's the mental issues of it all. And our dear friend Kenya really helps us all realize that it's a "normal" thing. So, the only answer I could think of giving for the worst is the mental issues that go with this. You will NEVER realize how hard it is to give up your addiction and how it really affects you until you cross over to the loser's side. I think it's just one of those things that you have to physically be there to know.
My best? :-) Well, I feel GREAT!!!! I'm shrinking!!!!! I'm starting to feel like "Tiffany" again. And she's been lost for many many years!!!

Worst: I have no complaints in comparison to some of the brave souls that have realy had a tough time with their WLS.
Having said that- the worst part was the 1st month following WLS, having the back door squirts, gloucous level drops durting the 1st week (I was on meds for type 2 diabetes), couldn't get in or out of bed, sit or go potty wout help. The mind thing- gaining weight the 1st 10 days, then loosing, then staying the same during week 4 & 5.
Best: The incredible feeling of getting my life back. Getting down on the floor to play with the kids and not wishing for a large piece of machinery to help me up, fitting in nice clothes that have some shape, looking and feeling better, feeling stronger & having so much more energy.

| The worst? Definitely the pain I felt in my left side for about 6 weeks -- I really didnt expect that level of pain for that long - seems at least some of it was gas! The best? I feel centered and focused for the first time in years. I feel healthier and stronger than ever before and I'm looking forward to being the person I'm becoming. ......and, of course, this awesome support group I go to several times most days

the worst: the emotional stuff. it's hard to figure out a new way to cope.
the best: looking back on how far i have come in EVERY area. its like maturing all over again. emotionally, physically in every way possible. its crazy to look back on old habits and what not...crazy.

the worst for me was feeling tired for the most of 6 weeks and the new relationship I have with food now, its gonna take some time, i guess thats part of the head trip everyone else mentioned. the best is packing up clothes that don't fit anymore cause they are too big.
