yeah!

i lost 2 more lbs. i went and got weighed today. All i've done is eat healthier and tried to excercise every day for at least 10 mins. bike for 5 to 8, and walk to the mailbox, about a half a block away and housework. so it's nothing compared to those post ops out there but pretty good for me. i am now at 402, if they keep throwing obstacles in my way i might get down to 300 lbs or so , hehe

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You sure are doing great! I'm sure this is going to help you the way nothing else can once you do get on the losing side.
Keep up the good work, no matter how impatient you get.

thanks Doc. it's amazing how just changing a few of your eating habits can effect you. Now i know it's not alot but it's something. i still sneak in a sweet snack once in a while, but never how i used to, and i don't crave it nearly as bad as i used to. it's funny now that i don't have sweet s everyday i don't crave it, i also find now that when i do give in to a sweet here and there i don't enjoy it the way i used to, and don't even bother trying to give me pop (even diet) anymore cause it's just too sweet for me now. up until trying for this surgery never thought i'd choose water over pop or be willing to give up chocolate. it's hard the first few weeks and then it didn't bother me anymore. i'll i've been hoping to do is maintain my current weight and it's slowly going down. can't wait till after the surgery.

It is funny that you mentioned the whole pop thing, since I had a heated discussion with my hubby which went something like this, don't you dare drink my last diet pepsi you moron. I know I am not supposed to drink it, but that doesn't mean you get to. That is my emergency diet pop and if you know what is good for you, you will leave it alone. heehehe. Keep up the great work sweetie.

that's too cute pillows
so you keep an emergency diet pop in the fridge? neat, i have an emergency pack of unopened cigarettes in the freezer, funny but knowing they are there if i break down is easier to avoid them , if i were to break down and not have them to ignore i would be at the store in minutes making sure i had my next fix available. but knowing it's there in case, i don't obsese over it? weird eh?

I know exactly what you are talking about freebird. For some reason having something there as a comfort does help. You would think that it would be the opposite.
