| Hey, everyone. Sorry I haven't been on here in a while, but I'm feeling better now. Well, I've had the surgery and everything went as planned. I started back to work today and am a little tired, but I was expecting that. Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that I made it through the surgery. ![]()

| Thanks. It has definitely been a roller coaster ride to begin with. I was just trying to learn what to do to keep from getting sick to my stomach, but I think I've figured that out now, YOU CAN'T GO ALL DAY AND NOT EAT even if you aren't hungry.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Very true. You must try to eat something even if that is the last thing you want to do. Also, I take pepcid complete and that really helps me. Congrats and welcome to the club/loser's bench!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Yay! Welcome back! Yeah, you have to eat, not only to avoid getting sick but to see the weight loss too! I have this problem from time to time, and I have realized the scales dont move if i forget to eat regularly. My surgeon gave me a prescription for ant-nausea and Pepcid for the first 3 weeks.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | The begining is very hard. Its like we are not hungry and so we think oh just dont eat. but that is not good for our bodies. At work I have a little piece of paper an dI write down what I have drank and I also mark down what time I am due to eat or drink again. After a while you kinda get in a routine but it is hard in the begiing. I found if i keep eating my small meals I do good. Sounds like that is what works for you too. |

| Yeah, I have found that if I eat something every couple of hours, I don't get sick to my stomach. Now when I say eat something, I mean just a few bites, not much at all. This is what is working for me so far.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Your doing it right and it will increase over time. Trust me. I thought oh this will be so easy and sure enough over time you eat more. but good for you for eating every couple of hours that is best and then in between drink your fluids. keep up the great work. |
