Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | CONFESSION: ok so i'm doing bad stuff. you all know about my apt horror story... anyhow, i came home to try to stuff my face yesterday. i ate an entenmen's chocolate covered donut. i stuffed the entire thing down my mouth in a few seconds. it was quite impressive.....and then the rummble, the bubbling, the fight that went on in the pouch was nothing short of amusing. but the puke that followed was THE WORST. it was the most VIOLENT episode i have ever had in my life. There was no holding it until i got to the bathroom, it just kinda shot out LMAO! what have we learned from this kids?: there has to be a better way. if i cant smoke, and i cant eat, what can i do? what do i do when i get angry? how do "normal people" without "issues" deal with day to day anger and upsets? to be honest it;s starting to get to me. i think last week i almost walked out of my job because someone said something stupid and i couldnt contain my anger. how am i going to learn to function? therapy right? NO WAY! lol. not after that last freak i saw. there has to be a way. maybe a self help book or something.....any thoughts? WOW: on a side note, i did go shopping which made me feel better. i bought a vest its freezing here(L) and long sleeved thermal shirt (M) and new jeans (8 long) i have never in my life worn a large in womens outer wear. every winter prior to this one i had to shop in the mens section for coats because my back was so wide and even then sometimes i couldnt zip the darn thing. im thinking this year i can get the girly colors also, is it safe to say that my bones wont allow a smaller size? i mean i got 8's but where the waist sits, its right on my pelvic bone (i think) not comfy at all. denim on bone is cool when you've never felt it before but its not comfy LOL. so even though the rest of me is shrinking does this mean my waist/hip area stops here? im not upset. im thrilled actually....just curious. Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Im sorry honey you have had to go though what you have. Its just not fair I know. I could see myself going after somthing like you did yesterday with that doughnut. Mine probally would be a hamburger from a fast food joint. I dont have the answer for you what do normal people do. I think they all have a way with dealin with there own problems other than food. Mabye ask someone who is thin how they deal with emotional stress. I have never thought of this acutally. As far as your job goes honey....... You havent liked that job since you have been posting. I have been in your situation to, ready to walk out over someone saying somthing stupid. Now I just let it set with me a few seconds before I react Sometimes that turns into mins and then days. Whom ever did it seen the reaction on your face anyways which can be a brillant thing. LOL Im trying to make you laugh here so if i come of to corny forgive me. Maybe its time to set down and right a list of what makes you happy and what makes you very unhappy. Take the list and do somthing that makes you happy before tackling a subject on the list that makes you unhappy. It will work if your bound and deterimined to do it. Things like relationships are never really good to tackle however. They come and go as they please so the list wont help much on that. We are hear for you. You know that. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I like shopping when I'm stressed -- although I tend to spend too much! You could take up shadown boxing or get a punching bag and take up kick boxing? Why not excercise when you're angry? It might help? It would certainly be better than a chocolate donut? What are those doing in the house anyway??? Hmmmm??? |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | jill: it wasnt in the house, i bought them special just for the occasion msvickie: as always thanks for the giggle kim: #*^#*^&#%&@#^& i feel fine now. LOL. i just blew another $200...on what i have no clue LMAO. but lets just say not only will i be well dressed, i will smell good too! thanks everybody. ps. i bought a book. that should relax me a bit. i havent read since my last book report... i think for anyone who is an emotional eater, coping is something you should think about post op. never doing that before and then suddenly being forced is tough. it's worth looking into. exercise sounds good, but you have to remember when in the fits of rage you do not think rationally. so the first step, for me, would be to take a minute and THINK, then exercise; as opposed to getting steamed and eating. i recognize i need to work on this or i will fail for sure. |
