Default Bad day

Hey everyone! I hate to complain, but today I am having one of those WHY DID I DO THIS TO MY BODY! i woke up this morning and started with a protein shake and was sorta okay, just feeling cranky. Then i tried grits with half a spoon of scrambled egg in it with a small amount of cheese. Lord should I have just stayed with the protein shake.. i started puking and have slept most of the day, except to get up and puke... needless to say I am feeling sorry for myself not to mention I have lost only 20 pounds in 3.5 weeks...... Also Everysince the surgery I can't sleep and My legs just ache so bad at night when I try to go to sleep. Has anyone had this happen yet?..

i don't know what I would do without this forum and all the advice everyone has....Thanks guys

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

sorry you're a bit down and out. it happends. it comes and goes like a blowing breeze.
the leg cramps i got. i eat half a banana everyday and i dont get them anymore.
the eggs may have upset your pouchy. some people have problems with them off and on early out. try again in another week or two. for now stay away from them LOL.
as for the lbs, then come of when they are ready put the scale away, concentrate on what you need one day at a time and it will come off. patience, persistence, and ....(theres another "p" word i just forget)...LOL!

Yes It Was Probably The Eggs. I Dont To That Great With Them Even Now. As For The Leg Cramps That Is So Funny You And Kenya Get Them I Used To Get Them Also In The Begining Real Bad. Not Anymore Though.

As Fot The Lbs. Like Kenya Said Ignore The Scale Your Body Is Healing Right Now Also It Is Not Used To Getting So Little Food And Might Be In Starvation Mode Where You Dont Lose Any Weight. Dont Worry That Will Change. It Happened To Me Also. Dont Worry Hun It Will Come In Time. Just Be Patient. Remember It Took You Years To Put The Pounds On So It Wont Come Off Over Nite

I dont have either yet but im still on full fluids because of my setback so to speak. The bananna should help you with the legs cramps if your tummy can tolerate the bananna. Go ahead and let your Dr know yoru gettiing them incase he needs to put you on a supplement.

Hey not to alarm anyone but my dr said if you start getting leg cramps it could be a sign of blood clots.

thank you irish hon for pointing that out!! leg cramps are NOT a normal thing...you have got to see the doc on that one.

re: bananas..I've found out post op that I'm allergic to bananas, pineapple, mango..I used to eat this stuff all the time..but usually if you are to these things you are to LATEX also which I am.

food stuffs that we ate previously are different postop. A lot of people have trouble with eggs..mainly the yolk early on. If you've been on liquids and gone to full liquids then you might want to not push it all yet. grits are not one of the best things either for a 1st solid type of food.

But again as I've said before..i never had to do the whole liquid/full liquid stuff post op. I only know about these short term for other reasons.

HANG IN THERE!! it gets so much better..

one thing I have found over time is this:

--ONE--- new thing at a time. it's okay to eat the same ole stuff and then add one new thing a week. As you get further down the road you can add 2 a week or whatever..
